162. Who Are You?
First, we must recognize the importance of understanding our identity is found in who Jesus is and what He has done. We must learn to distinguish the difference between the lies and the truth. We are created in the image of God. We are His Masterpiece.
As a Daughter of the King, we need to stop the negative self-talk, the self-doubt, and stop listening to who the world says we are. We need to get into God's word and know who it is that He says we are. We are His and He is ours.
As a Daughter of the King, He is always with us. He is our good, good Father. We can know that anything that comes our way first goes through His hands. He is at work on our behalf, He will defend us, protect us, lead us, and guide us. We can trust Him and rest in Him - even when it makes no sense.
Today is the day to decide that we trust Him. We stand firm on His promises. We believe His word is true. Take some time to read and study Ephesians 1. Reading God's word is how you get to know who God is. As you read it, ask Him what He want you to know. Look for how you apply His word to your everyday life.
